Auschwitz - Birkenau

These images were captured on September 8, 2015. I later converted them to black & white in order to approximate the look of photographs circa 1940 - 1945. Two images were moderately manipulated using AI software to remove tourists, trash cans, and other signs of modern life. An estimated 1.5 million men, women, and children died here between 1940 and 1945.
