Images from a September 2015 trip to Prague, Budapest, and Krakow. There was a large Syrian refugee influx while we were en route to Budapest. Our train was stopped and searched by Hungarian police / military, and the Keleti Railway Station in Budapest became a de facto refugee camp due to the overwhelming numbers of refugees and resulting chaos. While in Krakow, we spent a day at the Auschwitz-Birkenau death camp museum. Images from that day are shown in a separate portfolio.
